Long story short. I work at a nursing home type setting. A home. One of my co workers just told everyone he tested positive for covid. He is currently not working, but we don’t know when he was exposed. And he’s been working. Now a couple of the patients are experiencing cold like symptoms. I personally have been taking the precautions. But I am in a rough spot. My mother has health issues and my daughter does too. We live together. I don’t want to bring this home to them. I plan on being tested tomorrow. But what brings the issue is my job. I truthfully don’t feel safe going back to work until my test comes back and I can make sure no one else has it. I know my bosses are going to tell me I am overreacting and that I need to come into work. Financially I will be fine. I have always been good with my money and have an emergency savings fund that I have started years ago. So I will be fine for a few weeks. I just am scared to what my bosses will say and I am scared they will fire me. Any advice would be nice. Thank you.
