Quick and effective way to remove blood stains from SHEETS/BLANKETS?

I got my first period back post BC pill and man it came hard. It’s been years since I’ve woken up to an accident of staining my sheets. That being said what are real EFFECTIVE ways to remove them ASAP? 
I tried cold water and hydrogen peroxide but it just left a ring...

Peroxide and a damp face cloth. Put the peroxide on first let it sit for a min and then blot out with damp cloth.

Get peroxide and pour it on the bloodied spots then soak in cold water mixed with some peroxide let it sit in that for a while and rub the blood out after that run through the wash I did this with my white pillow cover and there's absolutely no blood spot left

Filll something with water put oxiclean +borax in it nd some detergent nd let it sit it will take it out make sure the water is warm just put the cloths then the products hope
