Scared of not knowing you’re in labor?

Anybody else anxious that they won’t know they’re in labor? Lol I’m 35w4d and just so curious whether or not I will immediately know and know when to go to L&D? Can’t wait for my appointment next week to have my cervix checked and to ask my OB allllll the questions 😂

Trust me mama, you’ll know! Maybe not in the very beginning, but once those contractions start crashing down you’ll know 😬

FTM & I agree, I’m nervous I won’t know when to go, plus I don’t want to be sent home if I’m not dilating or only like 1 cm.  😖 I’ve also heard a lot of women say they thought it was labor but then L&D told them it was just Braxton Hicks, not actual contractions 😬😬

I didn't realize it with my first. I was in labor all morning and I just didn't feel good. It just felt like cramps to me. I expected labor to be a lot worse so I had even told my husband that we were in the clear. He was at work and his phone was dying so he needed to know what to do lol. I told him we were fine for the day and that i was going to go walk at the mall. I went to get dressed and my water broke while using the bathroom. All of a sudden i was like oh shoot. Those cramps were contractions lol had my daughter 5 hours later. You might not know at first. But the contractions will get intense enough that you realize it eventually.

Well I’m 33w3d currently, and im at risk for early birth as I’ve been experiencing some cramps and have shortened uterus (i have no idea what it is) of 2cm.
Today i had this pain in my vag, i couldn’t breathe or move, i sat there and cried of pain and all i could think of was the pain i’d have while on labor..
So i think yeah, it should be more painful than any other pain you’ve ever felt. Well, hopefully not. Praying to have a c-sec 🙏🏻
