Clogged ducts?

My boobs have been getting really full at night and my baby doesn’t empty them all the way and now I think I might have clogged ducts because my one boob really hurts in one area

A lactation nurse told me to buy sunflower Lecithin and take as needed but It makes your milk “not sticky” and will help any clogged ducts :)

Put a warm compress on and then massage the area that hurts/the lumps before feeding. I find that REALLY works for me. You don’t have to do it every time, just as often as you have time for.

Hand express for comfort as needed. Hand express in the shower. Warm compress as needed. Massage the clogs toward the nipple.
If you start getting a fever or having flu like symptoms, call your OB right away. Mastitis can develop quickly and you want to get ahead of it before it gets bad

A lactation consultant had me pump one breast at a time and massage the breast as I pumped. Ice afterwards. It helped me a ton!!!!

I have to pump before bed now because baby sleeps several hours straight and I was becoming engorged. I then pump close to morning because she doesn’t empty them.
