Is your LO using a toddler bed?

I have a crib thats converts into a toddler bed and I'm still trying to decide when to transition!

I didnt move my first child out until about 3 years old and she did great. I never had to chase her back into bed cause I think she was old enough to understand she needed to sleep.

Stay in the crib as long as possible! (This according to sleep experts). Unless you’re planning Montessori style mattress on the floor.

We tried the toddler bed for one night about a month ago... he was too excited to climb in and out on his own so we switched it back to a crib. But we’ll start the transition to a floor bed around October for sure because we’re doing a shared nursery for him and his little sister due in December and they’ll both be in floor beds.

With my first, I converted the crib at 21 months and I think that’s the age I will for my daughter too.

Son has been in toddler bed since 13 months only because I’m due in 4 weeks and plan to co sleep with her !! We were co sleeping and wanted him to get used to his bed before baby. Just a mattress on the floor though I’m afraid of him falling off a bed

Mine is on a twin mattress on the floor.
I converted my first’s crib to a toddler bed at 20 months (because we moved and I’m lazy) and had zero issues. We use sleep sacks so running around is hard, I think that helps keep them in bed.
