Sleep? What’s that?

Question

Anyone else’s June baby never slept through the night? 
Mine is still sleeping in his pack and play, then when he wakes up in the night he’s in our bed till morning. Still breastfeeding him and he has to nurse to go to sleep/go back to sleep. 
I am EXHAUSTED. Like over a year of not sleeping through the night has taken its toll on me. I have bad dark circles under my eyes, and I fantasize about sleeping 12 hours straight by myself. Lol 
Anyone else relate? I feel like a mom zombie 😳

There is a great “gentle sleep solutions for babies and children” group on facebook. It’s ran by a sleep coach who does lives and lets you ask questions. Are you just wanting to not feel alone or looking for solutions? My son has gone through phases where he learned to self soothe through gentle sleep training and sleep through the night like a champ BUT anytime something happens like, teething, or he gets sick, etc., I comfort him and he gets used to it so darn fast and I have to train again. And I’m pregnant and haven’t had the motivation so I’m currently in the same boat lol which is why I’ve been on that page and started back with some gentle methods somewhat casually yesterday.

Yes! I swear when she goes to sleep it’s 3 hours before she’s up and then she wants to stay so close to the boob and nurse on and off all night

Have you thought about moving him to a crib and in his own room? I didn't want to because mine was waking up every 2 hours still and breastfeeding to sleep but we made the transition back in March. It was definitely hard at first, but it didnt even take a month before she was sleeping through the night!

Omg my son has never slept through the night either . Some nights are ok will wake once or twice some nights his terrible wakes up a million times . Last night was a tough one he woke up at 3 am and only took a 40 minute nap during the day I just put him down for bed let’s see how he goes

It will get better! I had to sleep train in the end and it broke my heart bit im pregmamt and couldnt deal with that many night wake ups from aria and a new born 🤣 I found it hard beacuse she has no attachment to anything! No pacifier, blanket, cuddly toy, snuggy...everything I give her she loves and cuddles but when it comes to sleeping it gets thrown out her cot...i took us close to a month to get her to sleep through and some nights she'd cry for an hour (obviously i was going in and out the whole time) once shed got the going to sleep (after around 3 weeks) I did the same at the night waking and within 3 nights she went from waking around 3 times to not waking at all! She now sleeps 7-5/6. It was such a horrible time and it does now mean she seems to have started to wean herself slowly from boobs 😩 but im so glad we did it! Shes happier because shes getting more sleep and im happier because WE GET SLEEP! 🤣

We’re co-sleeping and I think it’s her teeth that wake her up a million times a night. On really bad days, I give her Tylenol and she sleeps much longer stretches. But most nights, she’s waking me up every 3 hours, almost like a newborn. 😩 you’re not alone. It’s also not forever.
