How many naps per day? (Almost 1 year old)

Question

My daughter (will be 1 at the end of this month) just started back at daycare this week. She had cried everyday and came home sick yesterday. So, I stayed home from work to take care of her this morning. She came and crawled in my lap and went straight to sleep.
Before daycare, she was taking naps at 9:30 and 3. At the daycare, they only let them take one nap per day at 11:15.
The daycare called me to tell me that she had been very fussy and wanted to be held all the time, but I think she is just tired.
How many naps does your little one take per day? 
Do you think I should look into a different daycare that will let her sleep when she’s tired?

How are they limiting a 11 month old most daycares let them sleep when tired hell its times my now 3yr old is tired at daycare upon arrival n they lay her down girl look into diff daycare this not normal

I would look into another daycare. 
We still nap 2x a day up at 7:30/8 am, hour nap at 11:30 am and another hour nap at 4:30pm bedtime 8:30/9pm.

2 naps for sure!! My babe could not survive on just 1. Occasionally he’ll only take one if he sleeps in really late and our schedule is off but he’s always melting down by bedtime.

We are still on two naps per day. He cut out his third nap on his own at 9 months so we plan on letting him keep his two naps until he's ready to transition to just one a day. I would look in to another daycare. It doesn't seem right that they are only letting her take one.

When I had a daycare at my home  my kiddos napped whenever they were tired...when I worked at a center the kids were on a schedule but the babies and young  toddlers were given two naps per day or as needed. I'd def look into other places.

We’re still on 2 naps a day. One at 11am and another at 3pm or 4pm. I did 2 naps a day until my son was around 14/15 months so I plan on doing that with my daughter.

It's perfectly normal to nap twice until around 15-ish months, you need to look into a new day care, thats disgusting!!

2 naps for a while...he's been taking 3 recently (he's teething - so possibly that).

My daughter takes 2 naps a day, around 10am and then around 3pm. If she only gets one nap in, she is really grumpy all day because she’s so tired. I think 2 naps a day is 100% reasonable at this age, I don’t plan on trying to get rid of a nap until at least 18 months, but maybe longer if she still isn’t ready.
