Decidual cast or miscarriage?

I just started birth control this month. My period started a few days ago and I have been bleeding really heavy today. I suddenly got bad cramps and these two came out when I went to the loo. Is it the decidual cast or a miscarriage? I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative.
