Later first appointment?

Anyone else have a first appointment scheduled for later on? I’ll be a little over 10 weeks at my first appointment for a dating scan. That’s just the scan. Then my first real appointment with my midwife is at 12 weeks.

I will be 9 weeks 5 days at my first appointment next week! Feels like the wait is taking forever!

My first appt is tomorrow afternoon.  I'm 10 weeks 3 days from my LMP but about 10 weeks from ovulation day. 🧁

Mine was at 9 weeks. I know they like to wait a little longer because sometimes it takes a while before the heartbeat will register and they don't want to freak you out by trying to do it too soon

I had my first "appointment " with the nurse today by phone.  I don't actually go into their office until I'm 12 weeks for the dating ultrasound and blood work.

I originally wasn't going to be seen till 12 weeks but I called other offices instead to get an earlier appointment and good thing I did too because I am actually pregnant with high risk twins and now need to be seen every two weeks.

I’m still breastfeeding my 19 month old, I’m really irregular and don’t know when I ovulated. so I get my first appointment 3 weeks after positive pregnancy test. They will do a ultrasound to confirm and to see how far a long I am. But I heard a lot of places don’t do first appointments until 10 weekish.

I won’t have an ultrasound until after twelve weeks. I’m ten weeks now and just had my first round of blood work/urine test.
