So i just turned 16 and my parents still refuse to allow me out of the house. The most ive done is go skating with my friends, out to eat after hoco, and go to the movies (Skating 2 times and movies 2 times). I thought that after I turned 16 i would have more privileges. My brothers are allowed to go anywhere anytime they want to without having to ask. I even had plans to go over to my friends house for a couple hours recently and my mom said no last minute. Both of her parents were okay with me coming (it would of been my 1st time at a friends house). My mom claimed it was her concern for covid but, i knew it was a lie since my brothers get to leave the house.

I just want advice on how to make this situation better.
