A little backstory. So I recently lost my virginity, my boyfriend and I were safe, we used condoms. I talked to my doctor about my period cramps a few months ago and I have to go in for labs before I get put on BC just to make sure everything is okay.

I’m likely going to go onto the pill because my mother is worried about an IUD for me. I’ve been working really hard recently to lose weight and my skin is clearing up and I heard that some birth control can cause weight gain or acne breakouts, so I guess those are my biggest questions. If anyone could give me a little advice to look into and some birth control options that would be much appreciated.
