So I’m a nurse and the hospital I work at has recently became overloaded with COVID patients and it’s just constant chaos around there. Today a patient gave me a laugh in the middle of the chaos that I really needed.

So... I was in a patients room getting some vital signs while trying to titrate a critical drug

Patient: Do you know what you’re having yet?

Me having not told the patient I’m pregnant: No, I’m only 10 weeks

Patient hollers: GOOD LORD THAT’S GONNA BE A BIG ONE

Me initially: 😑

Me a few seconds later: 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Got to love old people and their lack of a filter!
