People are attacking Trump for saying the second way but that's the only way I've ever heard it pronounced??? I'm in no way a trump supporter but I've literally never heard anyone say "tai-land" so I guess literally every single person I've met that I've heard say it has said it wrong.

this is why I hate being a first generation American. I already know people are going to attack me in the comments because I can't pronounce things correctly since I grew up learning English from my parents. English is their third language and so their general pronunciation isn't great and neither is mine and ive always been embarrassed and bullied at school because of that since I'm the "smart kid" but I can't pronounce anything and I just really wish I was normal so I wouldn't have to deal with all of the comments and mocking and laughter i get.
