Marginal cord insertion
I just went for my 20 week US yesterday and everything looked great in there except my doctor told me my baby has marginal cord insertion (umbilical cord growing slightly off-center on the placenta) , something I have never heard of before.
She told me not to worry but obviously I’m not following her advice. Everything I’ve read is positive for the most part but it’s not stopping me from having a total breakdown over here this morning. I am already considered high risk due to previous blood clots and having to take Lovenox shots every day so this just amplifies my worries and anxiety.
Hoping for some positive reinforcement from anyone out there who has also had this - was your baby okay or underweight, or induced super early?? Please share your experience if you have one!! ❤️
