It was recently my birthday and my boyfriend didn’t really make much of an effort. I communicated this to him and told him how it made me feel. He told me he would make it up to me when we see each other next and he just ended up laying around all day and falling asleep ( we don’t live together so I visited him )

Do I have a right to be upset ? Like I’m not annoyed or angry I’m just disappointed that my efforts for him are infinite and I don’t really get the same in return.
