How do you hope to give birth?

I'm so curious what everyone else is planning to do! I am planning on having a home water birth and I have lots of fears but I am also very excited about it!

This is my third and it will be at a birth center. My first two were hospital births. While they went well, I got tired of fighting to avoid unnecessary interventions. This time we’re doing it the way we want to with a birth dream team 💚

Our hospital has a really nice birthing center attached, complete with bathtubs and everything for when you’re in labor. What I love about it is you and baby never have to leave the room unless there is serious medical attention needed, it’s like your own little suite basically.

Hoping to have a home birth as well! This is my third and my other two Labour and deliveries were great (in hospital) so I really want to try a home birth this time! We are so excited but also super nervous lol!

FTM... I would have loved to have a home water birth but in terms of finances and not being in our forever home that isn’t going to happen.  I’ll be giving birth at the hospital but I’m part of a maternal care program where I have the same midwife the whole time and she is present at my labour and provides all follow up care (and this is all free!). You can labour in the tub at the hospital also. I plan on having a natural, drug free birth. 🤞 starting a hypnobirthing course this week ! Best of luck to you xx

I’m having a home water birth too if all goes to plan. Everyone thinks I should be nervous because the hospital is an hour away if anything was to go wrong but I’m not worried I feel really good about it

Sadly, need to be in the hospital... had complication with my last pregnancy and don’t want to risk bleeding out again.
