So I just turned 27, I have an associates degree and an almost 2 year old. I’ve been contemplating pretty hard lately on going back to school to become a teacher. I am currently a SAHM and think I’d really enjoy teaching and could use the benefits, while still getting to enjoy summers off with my child. The only thing is, it would take me 3 years (including student teaching) to complete the degree and I’d be 30 going into my first year. Would it be worth it? Has anyone else gone back to school for teaching later in life?
