Needing advice

Hello me and my boys dad has been broken up for about a year and a half now since we have broken up he doesn’t see his kids like he should or help take care of them our 2 boys have been living with me and have been with me everyday since we broken up he hasn’t kept them since last year in September and the last time he saw them was for 4th July only for 15 minutes and he yet still hasn’t paid any of his child support that was starting the beginning of July he hasn’t paid for July or August yet the court system can’t do anything about it until October with this virus going on we stop talking for a little bit since he never made time for his kids or help me take care of them I got sick of it and told him how I truly felt if you can’t be here for your kids and be a father then stay completely out of our life’s but we got back in contact with each other he said he wanted to make things right and do the whole co parent thing I yet don’t really believe him because he hasn’t giving me any money towards child support for our kids and he expects me to go out of my way and bring them to him when he has a car he can come pick them up from my apartment since i already do so much for our kids by buying for them taking care of them 24/7 plus taking them to the doctor when they are sick or to there check up appointments he doesn’t do any of these I do it all without his help so it’s not going to hurt him to pick his own kids up and bring them back home since he does nothing for them should I give it a shot by trying to see if he actually wants to co parent this time? This has been going on for a year and half now nothing has improved or changed with him. Plus my parents hates my boys dad they pretty much think they have control when it comes to keeping them from there real dad when they have no control I am there mother I make the decisions they have no say so if there dad is actually wanting to step up this time and do better for his boys and be there for them then I will allow him to see his kids. Last weekend my boys dad was wanting to keep them over the weekend he drove 30 minutes out of his way to pick them up and keep them all weekend my parents ended up throwing a big fit saying they wasn’t going I am just needing some advice what I need to do about this’ll situation there is no custody thing set up through the court we only gotten child support set up nothing more but he does have right towards his kids since he’s legally the real dad he’s been wanting to keep them for a while now but my parents act like a fool and stress me out which I don’t need stress at the moment since I am at high risk half way through my pregnancy now.
