My LB is almost 12 weeks old (on this coming Tuesday) and is breastfed with two 3 ounce top ups of high calorie formula a day. He has around 2-3 dirty nappies a day and 6+ wet nappies a day, however when he’s feeding he will start to cry and get fussy so I swap sides then he starts doing it again, when I hand express only a small amount comes out after he’s fed. Am I not making enough milk to satisfy him? Will my milk production adjust to what he needs if he keeps emptying the breasts on both sides?
