Baby showers?

I have zero clue when to do a baby shower or what to do for one.. 
January is so hard because of all the holidays. 
I was thinking October but with COVID still around I doubt October would be doable. December scares me because of holiday plans.
What is everyone thinking/doing

I was thinking beginning of December! My birthday is the 13, his mom is the 21 and our dog is 31.
I’ll be so shocked if we have a girl and she’s born 3 weeks before her due date being born in December too! My husband would be broke every December! 🤣

I'm having mine october 24th for the same reason that November we got Thanksgiving and my oldest sons birthday and December I have my middle  sons bay my moms and Christmas

I’m due late January 2021. I’m having my shower in October. It’s early, but it avoids bad, snowy weather (Pittsburgh) and far enough away from the holidays. I don’t expect more than 10-20 people, so hopefully that will still be allowed with COVID.

I am due Jan 26th and my mom took the reins on a shower as soon as I announced and is planning for October as well to avoid snowy weather later on. Hoping for a nice fall so all can be outdoors and somewhat distanced.

We are probably going to do the beginning of November before Thanksgiving to try and avoid the holidays. We were thinking about doing like the second week of January since he's not due til the 29th but theres a very high possibility he'll come before then and I want to be ready
