Anyone else team green?

This will be my second baby. We did IVF for my first and she’s now 6 3/4 ( to her the 3/4 is VERY important 😁). So this time my husband is adamant on not finding out the gender until birth 😳🤭 I’m dying to find out but I also think it will be the surprise of a lifetime also. Mixed feelings but I need to hear from others on the subject It’ll help ease my anxiety of waiting Thanks to all of you!! 🥰

I'm always dying of curiosity, but my husband really doesn't want to know before baby is born.
We didn't find out with our first, and we're not finding out with this one either. It was so much fun keeping it a surprise! Everyone was guessing up till the last minute, we got to pick twice as many potential baby names, and it really was a wonderful surprise. I feel like gender disappointment is much more common when people find out ahead of time, because it's impossible to be disappointed with their gender when it's a new snuggly little baby in your arms ♥ have fun with whatever you decide is right for you!

I waited with my first! I loved not knowing. I felt like there are so few great surprises in life, why spoil it? Plus it drove other people crazy, and I found that funny. Getting gender neutral items, clothing, and decorating the nursery was super easy, which everyone says will be hard for some reason? Remember to tell ultrasound techs you’re not finding out, as well as your doctor so no one slips, but also remind the person delivering your baby that you don’t know! I had my son, and the midwife showed me the baby, and I was like what is it? They didn’t do the big ‘it’s a boy’ thing I thought they would lol 😂 but that’s kind of a funny, cute story now to tell. 
This time we are finding out, but for my son. He’s 5, I don’t want to deal with gender disappointment, so we’re gonna get him all pumped up about little brother, or sister, early. That’s just his personality though, I know if he sets his heart on a gender and it’s not that, he’ll be a lot to handle and I want them to have a good relationship from the start.

I’ve heard it’s the best surprise ever! Do it!! We found out for our first 2 and are being surprised now. I realize after 2 I don’t need to have their room set up cuz they sleep with me for a year anyway... and now I already have all the boy and girl stuff too since o have one of each. I am so excited to be surprised.

Our first was a surprise and it was so much fun! We went neutral for the nursery and when he was here, decorated.  It was fun to design to his personality instead of gender. Pregnant with our second, due in February and going surprise again! It’s such an exciting experience. No other true surprises in life, it’s really amazing!

We’re waiting too! We have one of each already so figured mise well make the last time we have a baby extra fun! It’s killing me but it’ll be so worth it ☺️
