When did you announce

Announcing tomorrow and I’m 12 weeks on Friday, I’ve have ultrasound confirming at 8.5 weeks and Doppler on 11 weeks hearing baby heart beat. Is it too early still?? 😬

Announce whenever you feel comfortable! There’s no rule book on when it’s appropriate - most people just wait until 12 weeks because the chance of mc is lower. 
I’ve been pregnant 3 times:
1st time i announced at 14 weeks.
2nd time I ended up mc and actually ‘announced’ (for lack of better words) my mc. The amount of support and solidarity was amazing! So don’t let fear of that be a determining factor - women are so supportive during times of need like that. 
Currently my 3rd time pregnant with our rainbow and I announced at 8 weeks after we had an ultrasound confirming that baby was fine! 
In the end, do whatever you’re comfortable with! I don’t regret waiting until 14 weeks with my first nor do I regret announcing at 8 weeks with my rainbow 🌈

Very person dependent. This is my 1st pregnancy. We told very close family within 1 week of +test (and I found out 6 days before my missed period 😳), announced to everyone else after 1st ultrasound at 8w3d. Been nice to have support and be able to discuss things with anyone and everyone I want haha

I told my family after I went to the clinic to confirm the pregnancy at 5 weeks. I waited until after my first ultrasound at 11 weeks to announce it to friends and social media

13+6 and still haven’t announced yet. Told my mom 3 days ago. We’re telling my dad on his birthday, August 23 then maybe I’ll announce to social media.

I announced at 11 weeks after I went to another appointment and they confirmed everything was fine 😊

With many of my babies, I announced either as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test, or as soon as I had my first ultrasound. Later on in life, I put it off until 12-14 weeks. This is baby #6, and I still haven't announced. I'm 13+5 today. Right now, my plan is to wait til my husband's birthday, because we are paying for a 3D gender ultrasound that day to find out the baby's gender! But if you feel ready to share your good news now, do it!

Do what you feel comfortable with. We told a few close family members very early on at around 7-8 weeks. These were the people that we would want support from if we had a miscarriage or had genetic screening results that showed concerns.
We told everyone else after the 12 week scan and we’d completed NIPT testing which ended up being just over 13 weeks.
