Period 12w pp ?

So I’m currently 12w pp & I started bleeding like 2 days ago then it stopped but it was only a little then yesterday I saw blood & it was more now i put a pad on & when I checked it was full & im consistently breastfeeding, no supplements just breastfeeding & my doctor told me I shouldn’t expect my period until maybe 3-6 months later depending how consistent you are with breastfeeding that can prolong you getting your period so I’m just wondering if anyone else got their period like this as soon as this.. thank you & yes I will call my doctor I just want your opinion or experience.
