What are yalls favorite unique names? For boys and girls specifically(not unisex). Im only nine weeks but it takes us literally entire pregnancies to choose names. My husband is notoriously picky, and neither of us like super common or "safe" names. We went with a family name for my son to honor my grandfather who was going through really hard health times so his name is Henry Darrel M. Which isnt uncommon. We dont regret his name since hes named after someone we live dearly, but after he was named Henry started gaining popularity again so we almost wish wed just used the middle name Darrel and went with a more uncommon first name. (My grandfathers name was Darrel Henry).

For our daughter we chose the ONLY name we could agree on, which was Violet Fae. We chose that because at the time we didnt know anyone who had a violet, and neither of our family or friends knew anyone who was names violet or who had named a child that. Now again ifs gaining popularity but thats fine, we ended up calling her Fae most of the time anyways.

Now this time we want to find something even more uncommon, this is likely our last baby and we arent finding out the gender till birth. We agree on very little except that we both dont like super common names or unisex names. My husband also cant stand the whole last names as first names thing so thats also out! If youve got any suggestions please let me know! Ive got one girl name i like currently, but nothing for boys names at all and my husband hasnt decided what he thinks of the name ive suggested just yet.
