I was raised with the fear of God in me.
And that was a GIANT reason I was so well-behaved 😂
My husband and I are not religious and we are raising our 7 year-old sans religion. I'm having a tough time trying to get him to behave as well as I did when I was his age. His behavior isn't HORRID, but there are times when I'm like "I never would've said that to my parents," or "I was may more respectful when I was his age." The threat of spending eternity in hell separated from my family was enough of a motivator for me lol
What gets your kids to behave? Taking away privileges, creative punishments/learning opportunities, "The Look," something else?
Thanks in advance :)
