As someone else said, the “h” just means high, as in, it’s above the threshold to be negative. If your doctor doesn’t have you scheduled for a redraw I would request one, if it was me. Not everyone starts out with high numbers, and what’s most important is that the numbers are doubling, but 48 is rather low for being just shy of 5 weeks.
