Baby eats wtv you eat..?

Question

Mammas who say their babies eat wtv they eat, is it actually the same food, or you modify it a little for your baby? How do you do with seasoning/spices and salt?
My LO is 8.5 months and we won’t be seeing his doctor for another two weeks, I’ll ask him then, but would love to know what you’re doing!

Normal seasoning but as litluw salt as possible/no salt

Some exactly what we eat, some modified and some completely different . For example if there are beans or peas in our meal, I will smush them a bit before giving them to babe.  If we have steamed broccoli, I’ll steam a few pieces a little longer so they are softer for babe. I’ve stopped cooking with salt but I have served her pasta sauce and salsa on things which both had a bit of salt in them. It’s all about moderation. I do use other spices in my cooking.  And sometimes she’ll get something completely different if our meal isn’t baby friendly. Do what you are comfortable with and what works for your family.  I took a BLW infant course which was very helpful plus I follow a bunch of very helpful accounts on IG which have made me more confident at feeding my baby.

Aside from avoiding super spicy foods or a lot of salt, he really eats everything we eat. He loves things that have a lot of flavor! We had enchiladas last week and he gobbled them up!

I give her seasoning but no salt or spicy. If we are eating a healthy meal, I will give her some of ours but not if we are eating junk like pizza.

Exactly what we eat as long as it doesn't have honey in it. Minimal sodium :)

Oregano
Garlic 
Onion Peppe
Little to no salt

Modified in terms of how it’s cut up and served. Certain items may be removed due to chocking hazards etc

Exactly what we are eating unless it’s spicy then we just give him baby purée or whatever I have that isn’t. And anything that doesn’t have honey and minimal salt.

If you expect them to eat what you eat give it to them how you eat it. My kids love all types of food because we chose this route
