On July 26th, 2 days before my scheduled c section, I started having back labour. It had persisted for a few days but that evening it got worse and I couldn’t stand or walk so we went into the ER.
I was admitted and given some pain relief while my ON decided to go ahead with the procedure the next morning instead of waiting for me to go into full labour as I had had a myomectomy, 2 previous C sections so labour was out of the question.
The day came and I was wheeled in for surgery at about 12pm. The previous surgeries had caused both scars and keloids to form underneath the skin so it took the OB about 45 mins to find his way in. This was the longest I had ever had to bear. The baby was still very active when they got to her. I also opted for tubal ligation and so that was done after the baby was brought out. At 1.:35pm on July 27th I welcome my second girl of 3 kids and last child. She weighed 7.7 lbs so eager to be here. She cried so much and was very healthy.
