Toddler socialization during Covid

Ann

Hi guys, long time since I posted on here. I've really been struggling with feeling guilty about my toddler being home all the time during this quarantine period. Curious if anyone else is feeling the same and how they're dealing with it, or ideas on how to safely socialize the little ones?

My son never went to daycare, but we did have a nanny and I did take him to little gym once a week before the pandemic. I only have one friend that has a toddler also, and we try to meet at the park once a month. Other than that, he doesn't see any kids ever and I feel really badly about that. We don't go anywhere except occasionally visit my parents and walk around the neighborhood. I try to remind myself that pretty much everyone is in the same position, but it's hard.

Guess I'm just coming here to vent my feelings and see how everyone else is handling it. Hope you're well! (Also I'm pregnant with baby #2 due end of Feb so extra cautious now about getting around lots of people.)
