Anyone here get Botox? What’s it like? 
A few of my friends have started as a preventative measure against wrinkles, so I’m curious about how many women get it, what the effects are for
them, etc.

I just got Botox for the first time 5 days ago (I’m almost 38). Luckily I’ve aged pretty well but my forehead has always bothered me. It didn’t hurt at all! She didn’t use any numbing agents. Taking the injections felt like a big bite maybe. It took about 3 days to noticed any difference but now, 5 days in, I can definitely tell.

Hey! I started getting botox at 23. I had terrible forehead lines at a very young age. I don’t have a single wrinkle on my forehead now and I’m almost 30! It’s addicting so if you start, you probably won’t stop! It hurts a bit but it’s bearable. You can ask for a topical numbing agent prior to injecting if you have a low pain tolerance. Avoid blood thinners prior to your appointment. Thank f you bruise easily, take arnica for a few days before your appointment. Make sure you find a skilled dermatologist or esthetician! Depending on your metabolism, it can last anywhere from a month to 3/4 months. It can be costly at first but every time you go back it’s really just for touching up. Depending on where you live, prices may vary. Typically, you pay $9-$12 a unit. It can be costly if you have a larger forehead. The botox takes effect in a few days. You can ask to look completely frozen or just do a little haha hope this helps! ❤️
