In-law trouble

So we finally made the decision to do a virtual baby shower via zoom, I think a part of me is sad cause I don’t get the “whole experience” but I’d rather be safe and make my friends and family feel safe, along with most of my husbands family being up in Connecticut (we live in pa) so it just felt loke the right thing to do.

Well now suddenly i am getting slight back lash from the in-laws. His step mom started it by saying how crazy it was and that she just doesn’t get it.

Now his grandmother has replied to our official email invite with this:

I feel so attacked and offended, I’ve only been so nice and try to keep the peace but I’ve been crying over this, they are making me feel crappy for choosing this option when I was trying to do what was best. I kindly explained my side and kept my tongue bite, but I just had to share to vent I suppose.

I don’t even know or WANT to reply!! Is this a joke?!! To throw these blows at me and then offer to WATCH MY CHILD!! I’m pissed and I have to give myself some time to think and answer when I’m not so HEATED!!!!
