Castor oil to induce at 39 weeks ??

Question

I took Castro oil at 38 weeks twice once by its self and the 2nd in Midwives Brew. Nothing happened but contractions. I’m looking to try again now that I am 39 weeks. I’ve been 1cm dilated since the 29th of July and I am completely miserable😩 Do any of you ladies have any advice or any success stories of taking Castor oil a week apart or so?

Do not take castor oil it can hurt baby

It worked for me last time the first time but I was 41 wks . This time it just gave contractions at 39 wks . I think the trick is to be past your due date . Ot just only works if your body is ready .

I have heard from my pregnant friends that their baby pooped inside after they took castor oil and the babies were in distress.
