When did you give birth with GD. How many weeks were you?

When did you give birth with GD. How many weeks were you? I’m currently taking 96 units in total..and I’m 29 +5.

With my first I was induced at 37 weeks exactly. Midwife (who was at a clinic, under dr supervision) was terrified that he was going to be too big or have shoulder dystocia. Good thing we planned for an induction because the day before my fluid level dropped from 14 to 9. Placenta was starting to deteriorate. 
This pregnancy (different provider at a different clinic) told me last appointment that the farthest he’ll let me go is 39 weeks and that’s if I’m diet controlled. He knows my past history and I think at my appointment next week he’ll say 38 weeks, if everything stays controlled. 
I’m diet controlled at first, then oral meds, and just now got switched to insulin at bedtime. I know my GD is not controlled no matter what I do. Insulin will just keep going up, even if I’m eating salads and baked chicken.

I’ve been diet controlled and my midwife just scheduled my induction for Tuesday. I’ll be 39+2.
