Pelvic Pain relief?

Question

Anyone else having pretty bad Round Ligament and pelvic pain? Its impossible to roll over in bed without it feel like im being ripped apart.  I drove my manual car today to the doctor and could barely walk after.  Anyone have any tips to help? I wear a belly band and tried heat/cool compressions. Im really worried what this will feel like after labor 😥

I had horrible pelvic pain with my first pregnancy, especially 2nd trimester.  The belly band helped a bit.  It actually improved significantly toward the end and was pretty much gone the last few weeks!  Non existent after the baby was born!  Now on my second pregnancy I haven’t had it, which surprised me!  Hang in there, it sucks but won’t last forever.

I agree with the other posters. Try to keep your knees together as much as you can. If I get up in the middle of the night after laying on my left side for a while, my pelvis will pop. It’s so uncomfortable, but I guess I’ve got to live with it until baby comes.

I agree with the keeping knees together if you need to shift in bed. My midwife also says to tuck them up towards your body too, yes the belly gets in the way but the muscle is less stretched out that way. I’ve found some relief that way.

Pelvic pain in bed is one of my major symptoms of pregnancy and I believe it’s SPD. The biggest tip that helps me is to focus keeping your knees together no matter what when moving in bed! It hurts a lot less that way 😊
