Here we go again...
Hi ladies. I had 1 healthy pregnancy in 2009. Had a 2nd healthy baby in 2013. I went on birth control until March 2019. My SO and I tried consistently every month and I finally became pregnant March 2020 (1 yr since stopping BC). I ended up losing the baby at around 5/6 weeks. We were heartbroken. My hCG was not progressing well, the sac seemed to develop slowly and when the heartbeat was finally visible it was extremely low. We figured that was our one and only chance. Well, fast forward to August - to my surprise - I see 2 pink lines! Our hearts were ELATED. I’ve lost quite a bit a weight since last year till now, and have been put on thyroid meds... so I’m attributing that to finally conceiving again.
Today marks 1 week since my first positive test this time around, and im already having cramping and spotting. I got blood work done Thursday and STILL haven’t gotten the results back. However, I did go to the ER last night and my hCG was only 73. Very low. Nothing was seen on the transvaginal ultrasound either. I’m roughly 4-5 weeks along right now.
After comparing, it’s like history repeating itself.
I know a miscarriage is common, but two in a row?
I was comparing my CBC levels from last miscarriage to this one... and I’ve been researching all day. NK Cells is the main thing it points to. Dad and I are compatible as far as RH factor goes, so it definitely isn’t that. Any help or advice or... anything? I’ve attached my CBC counts from May (when I lost my previous baby), and the counts from yesterday (I can already feel the impending miscarriage). I’ve also attached my ultrasound findings from the ER yesterday.
