Braxton hicks??

Question

I woke up in the middle of the night with what I’m assuming are braxton hicks, although they were quite painful! Changing positions/getting up didn’t help and they probably went on for about 20-30mins
Anyone else had this? What I’ve read is that BH aren’f usually painful as such :\

With my first child I had a little episode in the middle of the night. I called my dr that morning they got me in and he determined it was probably BH. They were quite painful.

I had this happen the other night. They felt a lot like period cramps and radiated down into my thighs. It lasted about 20 mins and went away- my doc said as long as they aren’t seeming to be scheduled they are likely BH so I didn’t go. I was close though

I’ve been getting a lot lately especially if I don’t drink enough water... water is so important! Also... try to remember that you should be ok as long as your not getting more than 5-6 in an hour 💙

I had this one night I had to sit up in bed and 20 minutes then they finally stopped but they were quite painful

i had one day where they lasted almost the whole day and i used tylenol and heating pad. it's crazy

Drink more water!! BH are more painful if you even a tiny bit dehydrated.
