Thursday I had some dark red bleeding that was more than spotting but wasn’t super heavy. I immediately went to the ER and they sent me to labor and delivery since was at the time 14 weeks 2 days (now 15 weeks). They immediately listened to heartbeat on Doppler which sounded great and then doctor performed an exam to make sure my cervix was still closed. She then performed an ultrasound and baby was very active. Doctor said everything looked fine and she believes the source of the bleeding was from my placenta being low lying. I haven’t experienced anymore bleeding or spotting since Friday afternoon. I have an appointment today with my doctor. I am just really nervous/worried and really just need some reassurance that everything is fine with my baby.
