How long did it take you guys ti get pregnant after being on depo ( bc)

I been off if depo for 2 years my period does skip for months at a time

Me and my boyfriend been trying for 8 months since my doctor told me it's okay to start trying ( he is no longer my doctor) so now me and my boyfriend are starting to be discouraged and l Hve no doctor to talk ti about it and the hospital isnt accepting non emergency cases
