I'm 6w4d today and went in for an ultrasound due to some spotting. The ultrasound tech showed me that I have 2 gestational sacs and 2 yolk sacs but there weren't any fetal poles detected. She believes it's still too early. Then my doctor told me she is concerned and that by now they should see fetal poles and that I should not be optimistic at my follow up ultrasound. I don't know what to think. I had a miscarriage back in October and my wife and I really think this is our time, I hope it's our time! I am trying to stay hopeful but also realistic. Follow up ultrasound is in 10 days and counting....
