Myo inositol & period?

Question

so i’m on day 5 of taking myo inositol for my pcos, and i started spotting today. not sure if it’s a period starting, or just spotting, but i guess my thoughts are :
a) i didn’t expect it to start working after only 5 days!! 
b) i expected to ovulate first, then bleed
Has anyone else had a similar experience? maybe just a coincidence? (i track with ovusense and i know i haven’t ovulated yet)

It’s likely just a coincidence. 
I take Myo inositol for my PCOS and it is very helpful at regulating my ovulation, but it can take a cycle or two of taking it to notice the effects.

I started after only 5 days!! My period was also due around the time I started taking it so I think it helped my period jumpstart, I take 4,000 which is 2 pills morning, 2 at night
