Period late - negative tests??

Hi Ladies,

I am dx with PCOS but my cycles have been regular for a few years. I am thin and I don’t have insulin resistance. I previously had a daughter 5 years ago. Anyway, my period is 6 days late and a preg test was negative this morning. What gives!?!? Has anyone had a negative test when their period is so late? Should I test again in a few days or is it a waste of time and money?
