Implantation bleeding is a misnomer. There’s no actual bleeding that occurs when a blastocyst implants into your uterine lining. Luteal phase spotting is a more proper term, which can have multiple causes and shouldn’t be used as a sign of pregnancy. If you’re late, you should take a test!
