So how far along were you when you told your friends/family that you’re pregnant?

I’m only 6 weeks along, but it’s KILLING me not to start telling people! I’ve heard the “safe” time is after 3 months, but not saying anything to anyone that long seriously seems impossible! How far along did y’all start telling people? Was the reactions all positive? I have a 9 year old son, so I think the people in my family definitely thought I was done lol

Told family and friends right away. I looked at it this way, if I had a miscarriage they’d know anyway and I’d want their comfort and support so why not tell them and let them start praying for us to have a healthy pregnancy.

I was 20 weeks. We told them about the pregnancy and gender all at once. I wasn't high risk or anything we just wanted to enjoy our privacy since it was our first. I wasn't showing even at 20 weeks so it wasn't hard to keep a secret. I am pregnant again and as long as I am not showing we will do the same thing.

Told close friends a family straight away because I knew if something happens I’ll need their support. I’m over 8 weeks now and has to tell everyone at work because I’m so bloody sick all the time 😂

We told our parents the day after we found out and then our siblings a few days later. Because of my period, we thought I was about 6 weeks at that point. We are now telling close friends as we see them. Planned on keeping it to ourselves for a longer period of time...but just couldn’t keep it quiet (well, I couldn’t keep quiet)! Turns out I was only about 5 minutes pregnant when we found out...that was 3 weeks ago and I’m just 6 weeks now! We will still wait until at least 12 weeks to announce. It is all about your comfort level 😊

We’ve known for five days and I want to tell everyone 😂 My husband is a much more private person than I am so he wants to wait a whole. We agreed after the first appointment we’d tell our family, then I remembered my sister living in California will be here in a couple weeks so I convinced him I’m gonna tell my family then. I’ll try to wait to tell others because I know he wants to but it’s SO HARD!

i told them immediately 😂 i couldnt keep it in . ive miscarried 3 times total and felt very positive with this one so i said sum , im currently 5 weeks and i told them exactly a week ago , its never too early to tell family at least if you cant keep it in or even a best friend !
