Implantation or Ovulation?

4 days prior to my predicted ovulation, I had gummy discharge that was slightly pink when I wiped. This lasted less than a day. I’m curious as to if this was due to ovulation or implantation. My period is to start today and I had absolutely no discharge yesterday. What do you guys think??
