Wait until 10 weeks for initial appointment?!

I’m going absolutely crazy. I had a miscarriage back in February so I’m so afraid something bad is going to happen again. I’ve expressed this to my OB office and they tell me there’s nothing they can do. I’m 8 weeks as of tomorrow and they refuse to see me until 10 weeks. 
Is this normal? What can I do to stop worrying!? Ugh this is worse than the TWW!

Maybe try a different doctor? I got my first US at my first appointment at 8 weeks.

You can pay on a website called pixel labcorp (if you have a labcorp nearby) and order your own hcg levels checks. It was like 42 bucks !

My OB office has me doing a call for my 8 week intake appointment. I won’t physically be seen until 12 weeks. I know it’s tough, but try not to worry 💕

I think normally your first appointment is between 8-12 weeks. For my first pregnancy, I actually went in at 5 weeks because I had no idea how far along I was! This time I’m waiting until 9 weeks. I’m sure other places will see you earlier if you want to go in earlier. Hang in there 💜

Its normal...there isnt much to see till around 10-12 weeks

It is normal, some places don’t even see you until you are 12 weeks along.

Can they at least order you lab work to check your progesterone levels? I’m not sure why you lost your last pregnancy, but sometimes progesterone is low and that can be the cause, so the doctor would prescribe you progesterone to prevent that type of loss.
