Ovulation bleeding

I had spotting on cycle day 13 and had it for two days. I took an ovulation test from cycle day 13 til now I’m currently on cycle day 18 and I have not gotten a positive opk yet. Could I have already ovulated and just missed the surge? Has anybody had this happen to them and never gotten a positive opk? I’m wondering if it was ovulation bleeding.
