We started putting baby down drowsy but awake for the past few weeks (he’s now 6 weeks old) and he’s doing great putting himself to sleep but he always fusses before falling asleep 5-10minutes after putting him down. Now, before anyone comes for me, he is no way crying. He’s just squirming around and flipping his head back and forth. Almost like he’s trying to get comfortable. He also grunts the entire time, very loudly. My question is, do your babies fuss as they are falling asleep? We never put my daughter down because she cried her whole infant days so this is all new to me. Also we are following the Taking CaraBabies newborn class of putting baby down for naps and night sleep as much as we can.
