Depends. I can understand and tolerate different opinions. But I won't tolerate the idea that people don't deserve basic human rights (based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, income, homelessness, etc.)

For the most part no but there are some sociopolitical views that would be deal breakers for me. The kind of people who believe those things wouldn't even be in my dating pool though.

When my husband and I started dating in high school I was extremely liberal because that’s how I grew up. He was a conservative. He never looked down on me for having different views but as I got older and we got married my views changed and I’m now conservative along with him. Depends on if they belittle you or let you have your opinions.
