Years ago, I had a single ulcer on my labia. It was tested for herpes and came back negative. Since then, I randomly get one single ulcer at times. It goes away after a few days. It’s back right now and happened to be at the time of my exam. So they tested again and said, again, that it does looks like herpes. Now I’m stressing out all over again. Anybody dealt with this? Could it be something else? It’s weird that it’s only one at a time and never spreads or anything, and that the test would’ve been negative. My husband does get cold sores sometimes but didn’t have sex before me so it would’ve been spread to him from me if so. I just don’t get how all of my previous std tests and that herpes swab would’ve come back fine if I did have it but idk!
