I’m out of ideas lol. I posted in the body mod group and didn’t get any comments.

I got the Ashley piercing on Sunday (directly through bottom lip into my mouth). Everything was going smoothly until yesterday I bit down on the bar while eating on accident and it’s been bleeding ever since. It’s not gushing or anything but it’s pretty steady all day. I woke up this morning with blood caked in my mouth and on my lips from it bleeding all night. It hasn’t showed any signs of stopping.

I’ve tried icing it. Putting pressure on it. I contacted the shop I got it at and all he said was apply Vaseline and don’t bite it again (duh) but the Vaseline does nothing. It just makes it so it doesn’t scab up around the piercing.

NOTHING is stopping the bleeding. It doesn’t even hurt anymore and my lip isn’t swollen either anymore but it still keeps trickling blood.

What can I do!? I don’t want it to get infected and I’m clearly over cleaning it trying to keep up with all the blood.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
